Prior to Your Arrival

Purchase Health Insurance Coverage

Sign the Student and Parent Agreement
- Download the form: Student and Parent Agreement.
- Ensure both the student and parent(s) sign the agreement.
- Send a signed copy to the Vaughan College Admissions Office before your arrival.
Confirm Arrival Information
- Guardians must inform Vaughan College of the student's arrival date.
- Arrange an appointment with the school for assessment. The student must be accompanied by their guardian for this meeting.

Upon Arrival in Canada

Clear Customs and Immigration
- Bring a reasonable amount of clothing, books, and personal items. Refer to Canada Customs Regulations for guidelines.
Prepare Documents to Present at the Airport
Be ready to present the following documents:
- Original Letter of Acceptance from Vaughan College.
- A valid passport.
- Temporary Resident Visa (TRV), if required.
- Letter of Introduction from the Canadian Embassy, High Commission, or Consulate.
- Proof of financial support.
- Any additional documents specified by your local visa office.
Visit Vaughan College for Assessment and Orientation
- Upon arriving in Canada, visit the Vaughan College campus to meet with the guidance to ensure a smooth transition to your classes and for a student assessment and orientation
- The student must be accompanied by their guardian during this visit.
Submit a Copy of Your Study Permit
- Upon arrival, submit a copy of your Study Permit to the Vaughan College Admissions Office.
