The Vaughan College International Student Program welcomes applications from students entering grades 9 through 12. While applications are accepted on a rolling basis, we recommend applying for the following entry points:

• September Entry
• February Entry
• July and August Summer School

Admission Requirements

Academic Requirement

A minimum of a B average (approximately 70% or equivalent) in the last two years of school with no failures per academic year.
Letter of Recommendation from a teacher or principal. Download the Recommendation Form
(Page 5 of the application package).

English Ability

High school students are required to demonstrate the following levels of English proficiency:Students with a low English level will likely need extra time or support to meet their academic goals.

Grade 9: High Beginner
Grade 10: Intermediate
Grade 11: High Intermediate
Grade 12: Advanced

Applicants with lower proficiency levels are advised to study English before arriving in Canada.

Accommodation Requirement

Students under 18 must have a custodian.
All students under 18 must live with a family; independent living is not permitted.
