Our Story

At Vaughan College, not only do our full-time students prosper, but students from other schools can also take advantage of our programs by enrolling in our night school or summer school as part-time students to earn high school credit courses.

We are proud to announce that despite its relatively short history, Vaughan College is growing and has established a strong presence in the Woodbridge region. In Sept. 2025, we are announcing to begin a reach ahead program for grade 8 students. Based on the belief that a strong middle school program is essential to succeeding in high school and beyond, the staff and management of Vaughan College are pleased to announce the addition of grades 8 to our offerings. This expansion will further enhance our existing programs with a middle school component.

As a Ministry-inspected school in Ontario, Vaughan College not only delivers the Ontario curriculum but also enriches learning through specialized programs in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and BTM (Business, Technology, and Mathematics). Additionally, students will have the opportunity to prepare for Advanced Placement (AP) courses or to take Cambridge IGCSE/AS and A Level examinations.

In grades 11 and 12, we guide students in achieving success across various subjects, while helping them select one of the specialized streams of their interest. This approach enables students to make informed career choices, empowering them to thrive in the world beyond school by unlocking their potential and becoming responsible, world-class citizens.

Vaughan College is renowned for its strong academic programs, which is why we consistently maintain a university admission rate of 95% to 100%. Our ongoing support throughout high school is another key factor in our students' high success rate.
