About Us

Vaughan College, an Ontario Ministry of Education-inspected private high school, was founded in 2009 to serve students in grades 9 to 12 in Woodbridge (Vaughan), as well as other areas within the Regional Municipality of York and surrounding regions, including Brampton, Ontario.

At Vaughan College, not only do our full-time students prosper, but students from other schools can also take advantage of our programs by enrolling in our night school or summer school as part-time students to earn high school credit courses.

Yes! Vaughan College (VC) is a private high school, fully accredited, inspected and approved by the Ontario Ministry of Education to grant students credits to earn Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). Vaughan College follows the Ontario curriculum. OSSD credit requirements at Vaughan College are similar to any other public school in Ontario. VC students receive a high school diploma and graduation certificate recognized by universities worldwide.

Is Vaughan College a Yearly school or Semestered school?

Vaughan College operates on a semester system. The academic year is divided into two semesters: the fall semester (September to January) and the winter semester (February to June). We also offer two summer school sessions in July and August.
